12 tags of Xmas

Every year Tim Holtz does 12 Xmas Tags in the first 12 days of December. He designs a tag and posts in on his blog with all the instructions. Then you can make your own version of it and post in on his blog. This year I thought it might be fun to join in. So here is my interpretation of Day 1

It is a little different to Tim's but I managed to use a lot of his techniques.

Christmas cards

There's only 5 weeks 'till Xmas!!!! and I'm starting to get ready by doing my Xmas cards. This year I am using just 2 designs and here they are

Finished at last

I can't believe it! Finally after 15 months I have finished the 5 Bali albums. It such a good feeling. Now to see what the girls think of them. I will be seeing on Friday. I hope they like them.

I am heading of to a crop day next Saturday and am looking forward to catching up on my LOs and I might even start on my Xmas cards.

Another Bali page

These photos where taken on our last day in Bali. We where lazing in the pool when this young man arrived with a ghetto blaster and started a water aerobics class. 3 of us joined in for a giggle whilst the other 2 where trying to find cameras to record this

I've used kaiser- Ester's Guestlist - Rachel papers, Some gorgeous die cuts that my friend Alz made for me (Thanks Alz), ribbon I found in a $2 shop, paper doily, thickers and letter stickers. I have machine stitched a border around the edge.

Then it was Fathers day so I made this for dh

And It was also a dear friends birthday

I have just discovered spellbinders and am having a lot of fun using them.

It's such a beautiful day today. I do love spring. So I think I will spend a bit of time outside before I get back into creating. See you soon.

Time to start again

It's been a long time since my last blog. A lot has happened but life seems to have settled down a bit so it's time to start blogging again.
Mr Turtle have closed their shop front but are continuing to operate their on line shop. So my DT work has come to an end. Thank you to Julie and Rebecca for giving me this opportunity. I have enjoyed doing this and I have learnt a lot.
I haven't been doing much scrapping lately but have a couple of things to share.
You may remember that I embarked on a humungous project to make 5 albums of a trip me and 4 of my friends went on to Bali last year. I am slowly getting there. So here is another page

It is very simple as I am trying to use a large number of photos. I have used Kaiser Banana Leaf paper from the Pina Colada collection, kaiser letters and some thread. Thank you to Lauri forThe use of her "You're not the boss of me" alpha dies.

My gorgeous nephew turned 5 recently and I made this card for him

using Bo Bunnys blast off collection.

This is my DD2 ball photos that I've had on the to do list for over 3 years. So pleased to have these done.

Family summer holidays

For this months DT I had a Kaiser castle album and the Kaiser Seaside collection range of papers. I went back into my archives and found these photos of when we used have family beach holidays - pre digital. So I scanned the photos and had heaps of fun creating this.
